طلبات البيانات
النص الإنجليزي هو النص المعتمد لهذه الوثيقة، ولذلك يُعرض كما هو.
This page explains how to see, download, correct and delete your personal data on QtecX, how to object to a use of it, and how long each request takes. It is part of the Privacy Policy.
In short
- Download a copy of your data at any time in Settings › Account › "Download my data".
- Delete your account at any time in Settings › Account › "Delete account".
- Turn off model improvement and quality samples in Settings › Data. The safety checks stay on.
- Files on your own computer are yours: the desktop app never deletes them when you delete your account.
- For anything else, write to hello@qtecx.si with the subject "Data request". We answer within one month.
What changed in version 2.0: the records our automated checks keep and the log of human looks at your content, your own keys and connected apps, and how to make a request from Egypt. Version 1.4 added paired devices, the code backup, files on your own computer, training sets and requests from Turkey. Version 1.4 and version 1.3 stay available.
Do it yourself in Settings
| What you want | Where | When it happens |
|---|---|---|
| A copy of your data (access and portability) | Settings › Account › "Download my data" | At once: a file in a common machine-readable format (JSON) with your profile, sessions and messages, the list of your files, your memories, your credit records, your paired desktop devices, your desktop backup settings, your connected apps and keys (their names and permissions, never the keys or tokens) and your data-control choices. Your files themselves stay downloadable from your projects; the code in a backup is restored through the desktop app. |
| Correct your details | Settings › Account and your profile | At once |
| See, change or delete what the memory keeps | The memory controls in Settings | At once |
| Stop model improvement, training and quality samples (object) | Settings › Data › "Use my data to improve QtecX models" | From that moment: nothing more is used, nothing of yours is added to new training sets, and your sessions are not sampled for quality review. The safety and security checks stay on. |
| Remove your own key or a connected app | Settings, the key or the app | At once: the key or token is destroyed |
| See what the agent learned for you | The memory controls in Settings | At once: see or delete it |
| Remove a paired device | Settings, the device list | At once: the device can no longer connect |
| Delete a project's code backup, or switch it to private mode | Settings, the project's backup | At once in the app; from our backups within 30 days |
| Withdraw cookie consent | "Cookie settings" at the foot of our pages or in Settings › Data | From the next page load |
| Delete a session, project, file or hosted site | Its own menu | At once in the app; from backups within 30 days |
| Delete your account | Settings › Account › "Delete account" | See below |
Deleting your account
When you delete your account:
- You are signed out everywhere and the account can no longer be used.
- Your sessions, messages, files, memories, what the agent learned for you, the records our automated checks keep about you, your own keys and connected apps (destroyed, so they cannot be recovered), computers, paired devices, desktop backup settings, the backup copies of your desktop projects with all their versions, the private repositories that hold your projects' copies, and hosted sites are deleted from our live systems within 30 days. Shared projects you own are handed over to another member where one exists, otherwise deleted; what other members wrote stays with them.
- Copies in our backups are removed when the backups rotate out, within 30 more days.
- Files on your own computer stay there: the desktop app does not delete your folders or the
.qtecx/working files in them. The app's own settings and keys on your computer stay until you uninstall the app, and a device of a deleted account can no longer connect. - We keep only what the law requires or what is needed to protect people: purchase and tax records (as long as tax law requires), records of a report or a moderation decision (up to 2 years), the log of human looks at content (2 years), and a record that the account was deleted. Data used to improve the service before you deleted the account, with your setting on, cannot be taken back from improvements and models already made, but it is not added to any new training set.
Free credits are lost when you delete your account. See the Refund Policy for paid credits before you delete.
Ask us
For anything you cannot do in Settings, or if you cannot sign in, write to hello@qtecx.si with the subject "Data request", from the email address of your account if you can. Tell us what you want: access, a copy, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or to know who received your data. You can also ask for the records our automated checks keep about you and the log of when a person at QtecX looked at your content; we give them, except where telling you would harm a security or abuse investigation or other people's rights, as the law allows. You do not need to use special words.
- Identity. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours (for example by replying from its email address or signing in). We never ask for your password.
- Someone acting for you. A parent or guardian, or an authorised agent, can make a request for you; we may ask for proof that they may act for you.
- Cost. Requests are free. For requests that are clearly unfounded or excessive we may refuse or charge a reasonable fee, and we tell you why.
